Mott MacDonald, the global technical management and
development consultancy, has been awarded a number of Catalist
framework agreements by OGCbuying.solutions. The award followed an
EU wide procurement process with strong competition from the
majority of UK professional service companies seeking to provide
consultancy services to UK public sector departments.
The new framework agreement is designed to provide a fast and
efficient route to help public sector organisations procure value
for money consultancy services from accredited suppliers, whilst
providing assurance that consultants are fully compliant with new
EU regulations.
Mott MacDonald’s success continues a seven year relationship with
OGCbuying.solutions as an S-Cat supplier. The Catalist brand
incorporates older framework agreements including GCat and S-Cat
until they expire and a series of new framework agreements which
have been developed to offer customers a broad range of goods and
services aligned to their particular needs. The framework will
allow Mott MacDonald to build on the previous successful delivery
of a diverse range of programmes and projects across the public
sector, including existing clients such as HM Treasury, the Home
Office, the Office of Government Commerce, Cross London Rail Links
(CLRL) and various local authorities.
Louise Jeffrey, from the Mott MacDonald Catalist team said, “We
have consistently demonstrated our ability to add value, and
continue to enjoy highly effective relationships with both
OGCbuying.solutions and our public sector clients. We are delighted
at this opportunity to provide further technical and management
consultancy expertise through the framework over the next three
years as we believe it offers the most efficient and effective
method of procurement within the public sector today.”
Through the framework Mott MacDonald will provide:
- Strategic consultancy
- Organisational development consultancy – which covers central
and local government, health, defence, education and children’s
services
- ICT consultancy – which includes IS strategy, IT architecture,
telecoms, application design and emerging technology
- Procurement consultancy.
